The "Spectre" tie-ins continue in the run up to the latest James Bond film's release next month. Previously, Heineken debuted a lively thriller starring Mr. Bond himself, Daniel Craig. Now, Gillette and Grey New York deliver another high-octane actioner, this time "resurrecting" Bond creator Ian Fleming to add to the intrigue.
The ad, directed by Adam Berg of Smuggler, features a nattily-attired Bond-like mystery man, who leaps out of a plane, speeds along on motorcycle, tangles with the ladies and faces off against scary ruffians. Amidst all the action, Bond author Ian Fleming, well, an actor playing him, steps in to narrate with some of his famous lines: "You only live twice," he says. "One when you're born, and once when you look death in the face."
After one frightful bad guy encounter, the spot ends with the line, "Bring out the 007 in you."
