Editor's Pick

The Google Art Project is getting a major upgrade, with 151 museums from 40 countries now participating in the search giant's quest to bring more art online.

The Art Project, which was introduced last year, saw curators and artists offering feedback on how the experience could be bettered. The improved site now has over 30,000 pieces of art in hi-res, with Street View interfaces for museums.

Nice search tools like 'Explore' and 'Discover' also let you find artworks filtered through certain parameters, and Google+ and Hangouts are integrated into the site, so you can create personal galleries.
