Worried about looking like every other trick or treater this Halloween? Check out Frightgeist, a site developed by Google Trends that shows which costumes will be popular around the U.S. this upcoming holiday. It pulls its data from the most popular costume searches on Google, based on location.

If you're in New York, for example, superheroes will be dominating the streets, while in L.A. Star Wars characters will be aplenty. Nationwide? The most popular costume actually turns out to be Harley Quinn, one of the main characters of DC Comics' Suicide Squad, whose film drops in August of next year.
