Google reacted quickly to this morning's historic ruling by the Supreme Court, that struck down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).  In a 5-4 decision, the court decided that the federal law, which defined marriage as a union between a man and a woman, was an unconstitutional violation of the Fifth Amendment. With #DOMA trending on Twitter, and Facebook users turning their profile pictures back to the red and pink equals sign of the Human Rights Campaign, Google once again showed that its finger is on the pulse.
