Google: Gmail Intervention

Google gets aggressive and offensive.

Editor's Pick

Google launched a video and a website that urged you to stage an intervention in the lives of your uncool friends that still hadn't made the switch to Gmail.

When you visit the website, you can log in and pick out the friends who haven't yet come over from the Dark Side. Google will then send out invites to those poor plebs.

In the video, an "intervention specialist" likens using non-Gmail services to using a floppy disk... or a scrunchie.

Considering the insult, is it any wonder Microsoft released its own response?
