Google pays homage to the classic cartoon strip "Little Nemo in Slumberland" today with a Google Doodle that takes over its homepage with a charming animation, "Little Nemo in Google-land". Created by animator Winsor McCay, "Little Nemo in Slumberland" first ran 107 years ago today in newspapers. The cartoon tells the story of a boy who travels in his sleep to the fantastic world of Slumberland, where he has adventures with Princess Camille, the daughter of King Morpheus. Google brings the story to life in a series of clickable panels which unfold the animation.
