Google Maps: Coordinate

Tracking employees and managing workflow.

Editor's Pick

Google launches 'Coordinate,' a great way for your boss to give you more work when you're working offsite because hey, you're the closest to what needs to be done.

It also has some other positive uses though. 'Coordinate' combines Google's geolocation and mapping services so businesses can track where their offsite employees are, creating an easy way to sort and organize mobile team workflow. Bosses can send people to their next task (deliveries, for example) and find out when people have checked in to a specific workplace.

Users of course have the ability to go invisible and employees have to consent to being tracked.
