If there's one thing Google knows how to well, it's stitching moments of video and photo together to create uplifting films. It does just that, when Zeitgeist 2013, featuring moments from what the world searched for this year. As usual, they choose to focus on the positives. While births and moments of inspiration are included, even the montage of people we lost features an uplifting quote from Nelson Mandela, and the sad moments, like the Boston Attacks and Typhoon Haiyan, feature images of people helping each other in the aftermath. "Feels Like Coming Home" by Jetta provides the sound.

There are four versions of the spot, by adam&eveDDB, made for France, Germany, the UK and the US. Each is based on the most-searched moments in that country. Across The Pond produced them.
