Greenpeace: VW - The Dark Side

Greenpeace recently released this spoof on Deutsch's award-winning VW "The Force" spot, likening the automaker to the Death Star for its opposition to cuts on CO2 emissions. Little Darth faces off against mini-me versions of Obi Wan Kenobi, R2D2, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian and others in this online film that encourages viewers to "Join the Rebellion" at VWDarkside.com. There, visitors can sign a "Rebel Manifesto" to be sent to VW execs, which will then allow them access to part two of the film.

Greenpeace would not reveal the creative individuals or agency behind the spot, as the organization's representative said it would draw attention away from the film's primary goals.
