In a stylish new spot for Grey Goose, a group of friends discover a dirigible and take it for a spectacular flight, watching an old movie projected against the clouds as they quaff the vodka brand's signature cocktail Le Grand Fizz.
Directed by MJZ's Steve Ayson, the ad is the first work for Grey Goose from BBDO New York, and continues the brand's "Fly Beyond" tagline, originally begun through WPP agencies. In the film, the friends are inspired by the flight of a grey goose to create their unusual movie night.
David Lubars, Chief Creative Officer, BBDO Worldwide, said in a statement: "'Fly Beyond' is a timeless platform. Our job was to make it relevant for what's happening today. In the end, you want people looking at every part of the campaign thinking 'I want to be part of that'."
The brand is also running an experiential campaign entitled Boulangerie Bleue that will launch in New York in June. The idea is to transport consumers to ta French Riviera beach club via a secret entrance through a traditional French bakery.
