Gucci's new fall and winter campaign takes its inspiration from "Star Trek" and a host of '50s and '60s sci-fi B-Movies.

The brand debuted its latest campaign this week with a film by director Glen Luchford featuring green-faced aliens, flying saucer space-ships, robots, holograms and dinosaurs roaming lurid sets. With references to movies like "Forbidden Planet" (Robby the Robot makes a cameo), music from "Space 1999" and "Star Trek" elements courtesy of CBS (yes, there's a Tribble), it's a lively mash-up that will delight fans of the genre.

The collection, by Alessandro Michele, also looks suitaby inspired, with "Star Trek" uniform-style jackets and collars among the florals and handbags.
