Editor's Pick

Gucci is going green. The Italian fashion house, along with sunglasses maker Safilo, has created these 'green' glasses, made out of a renewable plastic consisting of wood fiber, resins and lignin. Called 'liquid wood,' the material is biodegradable. Hinges and metal accents are made out of recycled metal, while the lenses are made out of mineral glass.

Gucci also announced a new line of sustainable, biodegradable footwear, designed by Frida Giannani, the brand's creative director.
