Already boasting a reputation for trendsetting in the fashion design world, Italian luxury brand Gucci is earning style points in the web design world as well, in the form of Austrian digital agency Wollzelle's redesign of Gucci.com. The new website's uncluttered, horizontal-scrolling interface sheds the Flash-powered conventions of the online fashion crowd in favor of Web 2.0 utilities like Ajax, allowing shoppers to peruse Gucci's extensive product lines seamlessly, free from the distractions of clunky page loads or browser plug-ins.
