In this Guinness spot for the South East Asian market, a group of friends go in search of a "mythical" ski resort on the equator, in Indonesia.

"Myth," created by Guinness's global agency Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in London, and beautifully filmed by Knucklehead's Siri Bunford, is based on a rumour that has circulated travel blogs and snowboarding forums for years. It is said that years ago, on the roof of Indonesia's tropical landscape, someone was crazy enough to build a ski resort. The film follows a group of young local friends from a beach village who set off to find it. They pause to gather their resolve in a bar, drinking Guinness, before traveling up the mountain to see what they can find. Once there they discover snow for the very first time and perhaps something even more. According to the agency, the cast had never seen or touched snow before and their first encounter is captured in the film for real.

The film, which broke in Indonesia this week, is accompanied by a poster campaign running in Singapore shot by photographer Nadav Kander. Guinness comissioned tattoo artists to create tatttoos that work across multiple bodies, illustrating its strapline "Together we are more."
