Actress and comedian Kristen Schaal ("Flight of the Conchords") plays a multi-tasking HR professional in a new humorous campaign from Gusto, a software company for HR professionals.

The B to B spots, by San Francisco-based Erich & Kallman, illustrate how HR people are expected to turn their hands to almost anything in modern offices, as in the ad seen here, in which Schaal's perkily professional character Zoe reappears in multiple outfits as she deals with problems from benefits and bonuses to a wilting desk plant. Other spots amusingly detail how her team's responsibilities can also include caretaking the bathroom key, blowing up celebratory balloons for occasions of all kinds, and remembering people's passwords.

The videos, which follow the launch of Gusto's People Platform, which allows HR managers to centralize tasks, will run on social media. The campaign also includes billboards across the Bay Area, and an interactive quiz in which HR people can find out exactly what their job title should be.

Eric Kallman, co-founder and creative director of Erich & Kallman, said in a statement: "We felt Kristen was the perfect person to represent the modern HR person for our campaign. She's warm, approachable and naturally exudes the energy of someone who does everything without skipping a beat."
