Online razor company Harry's waves a finger at hairy-faced hipsters in this funny St. Paddy's Day ad making a plea to "Save the Stout." The brand claims that each year, 162,710 pints of Irish stout get wasted in the forests of beer drinker's facial hair, further squandered -- or only partially saved -- by pathetic moves such as the "duck's quit," the "angry fish," the "blow hole" or "foamy combies."
As one guileless patron illustrates each silly act, a curmudgeonly bartender asserts, "Drinking a stout, with a freshly shaven face, is one of the most enjoyable things a man or woman can do, yet the unkempt arrive in hordes. Different breeds of the same, unnatural beast." The point being, that Harry's wants guzzlers to "shave your mustache to save the stout."
The funny holiday spot was created out of Partners & Spade and directed by Michael Clowater out of Smuggler.
