Developer Ivan Safrin and DIY games collective Babycastles are turning New York's Hayden Planetarium into a giant virtual spacecraft tonight.

With interactive installation Space Cruiser, 100-200 players can collaborate to navigate a virtual ship through asteroid belts and other danger in a giant on-screen video game projected onto the Planetarium's dome. The installation, part of an event called Cosmic Cocktails and Space Arcade, is unfortunately sold out, but you can take a look in this video.
