HBO and Dwayne Johnson Are Putting Your Workout Videos in the 'Ballers' Title Sequence

Dwayne Johnson Is Encouraging Fans to Send in Training Clips

HBO is giving fans of its show "Ballers" the chance to be featured in the show's opening title sequence. The cable channel claims it's the first time any TV series has broadcast a user-generated title sequence featuring fans live on air.

Starting last Sunday (July 17) HBO and "Ballers" cast members including frontman Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (seen here) started promoting the campaign on their Twitter and Instagram accounts. Johnson encouraged fans to tweet a video of themselves "training like a Baller" with the #BallersIntroContest hashtag for the chance to be featured in a special intro for the August 14 episode. All submissions will be collected and viewable at BallOutTheIntro.com

The campaign is by agency 360i. The agency told Creativity that within the first 24 hours, the contest generated 978 million impressions (via the #Ballers and #BallersIntroContest hashtags), a 90% increase from the season one premiere day. Entries include one from an American Ninja Warrior doing salmon ladders in her wedding dress.
