HBO Illustrates Each 'Game Of Thrones' Death In Online Art Gallery

'Beautiful Death' Campaign Will Build Anticipation For Season 4 Of The Hit Show

HBO commissioned artist Robert M. Ball to create a series of intricate illustrations representing each episode so far of Game of Thrones, to build anticipation for the launch of Season 4 of the show. The illustrations, each of which is based on the most poignant death of that episode, is showcased on microsite beautifuldeath.com and one illustration for each episode will be released every day leading up to the premiere on Sunday April 6. Hidden throughout each image are Easter eggs and surprises for fans of the show. As part of the campaign, by 360i, fans will also be invited to submit their own artistic interpretations to be showcased in HBO's Game of Thrones channels using the hashtag #beautifuldeath.
