Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam combine two great men -- the Heineken Legend and James Bond -- in the new film to mark its partnership with the upcoming 007 movie, "Skyfall." Teased last week, the film sees a Legend trying to escape from some baddies on a train. In a bit of action (which seems to be a watered down version of the brand's highly decorated "The Entrance" film) he maneuvers around the train, eventually coming face to face with Bond and the newest Bond girl. In true Heineken fashion, music plays a large part in the spot: It's set to "Man Like That," a track by New Zealand artist Gin Wigmore, who also appears in the film.
The interactive experience, "Crack the Case," begins where the film ends. You're invited onto a train rattling through snowy Siberian mountains, and then asked to solve a series of "tests" that will let you open a mysterious briefcase.
The film was shot at Shepperton Studios, and the campaign will include plenty of references Bond fans will love, with replica Bond film props used through the film and the interactive portion of the campaign, including the Spectre ring from "Dr. No," the Zorin industries and Spectre logos and the Faberge Egg used in "Octopussy."
