Rodolfo Kusulas of Mexico and Lee Dunford from Sydney connected online to create the winning bottle in Heineken's Limited Edition Bottle Design Challenge, announced today. Their winning design can be seen here.
The contest kicked off in December, when, to celebrate Heineken's 140th Anniversary, Heineken Netherlands asked designers to submit ideas for a limited edition bottle -- with a twist. Your design is only one half of the finished bottle, so you need to 'connect' with another designer in the gallery to create a complete entry.
The contest saw 30,000 entries from 100 countries, while the winner was selected from three pairs of final designs by judges Evan Orensten - co-dounder and executive editor of Cool Hunting, Mark Dytham, co-founder of global creative network, PechaKucha and Mark van Iterson -global head of design, Heineken. One million of the winning bottles will go on sale at the end of this year.
