David Bowie's creativity often inspired creativity in others, and today, in the wake of his death, many on social media, including BBH London, are sharing a GIF created by British artist Helen Green, in which she charts Bowie's changing style from the beginning of his career to the end.

Ms. Green had shared a version of the GIF around this time last year, in celebration of Bowie's 68th birthday. It includes "29 career-spanning images ... from Davie Jones (during 1964, when he released his first single 'Liza Jane' with the King Bees) to a recent image of him taken by Jimmy King, 2014, around the release of 'Sue (Or In A Series Of Crime).'"

Ms. Green later expanded on the GIF for a Sky Arts promo for its David Bowie weekend last November.
