Help Remedies: Take Less

Drugged up.

Help Remedies, the minimalist line of pain relievers and bandages that offers its medical solutions with packing that simply says, "Help. I have a headache." or "Help, I'm bleeding," has a new campaign that encourages Americans to simply, take less.

The stop-motion film seen here serves as a quick introduction to the message, which aims to dispel overly crowded drug aisles and drug packaging that says more than it does. The company also included a social media element, filling a jar with pills and asking fans on Facebook to guess how many people it would kill. Macabre, but effective.

The central "Take Less" campaign also encouraged consumers to take less of all the gibberish and panic drug companies throw at them. Squad Help and 99 Designs re-designed the packages to resemble other medications: Help, I have allergies was named Dulfhen -- a reflection of how illogical naming conventions in the pharmaceuticals business really are, according to the company.

Dataviz experts also made an infographic showing how many decisions an average person makes in the drug aisle.

And if you still aren't convinced, a 2-hour web film follows an endless drug aisle.
