Published on Oct 07, 2016 Editor's Pick Hillary Clinton's campaign has begun airing an ad titled "Silo" -- originally uploaded to YouTube as an "unlisted" (private) video on Oct. 1 and only made public today -- that stars Bruce Blair, a former nuclear missile launch officer who worked at the Ellsworth missile site in South Dakota. "If the president gave the order, we had to launch the missiles," Mr. Blair says in the ad. "That would be it. I prayed that call would never come. Self-control may be all that keeps these missiles from firing." Cue clips of Donald Trump saying "I would bomb the [bleep] out of 'em," "I wanna be unpredictable" and "I love war," followed by Mr. Blair's concluding comment: "The thought of Donald Trump with nuclear weapons scares me to death. It should scare everyone." Politico's Shane Goldmacher has been gathering reports via his Twitter followers of the ad appearing in various markets.
