Home Gallery Video Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign The Right Thing 'My Son Can't Live in Trumpworld,' Says Republican Mom in Emotional Ad Spot Is One of Four New Commercials Starring Opposing Party Members Voting for Clinton By Simon Dumenco. Published on Oct 12, 2016 Editor's Pick An emotional new ad from Hillary Clinton's campaign stars Jennifer Kohn, a Republican mother whose autistic son is also shown. "It's not uncommon for autistic kids to flap their hands." she says. "And so when I saw that" -- cue a notorious clip of Donald Trump flapping his hands to mock the disability of a reporter -- "that was completely disqualifying. I'm a Republican. But this election is so much bigger than party. My son Max can't live in Trumpworld. So I'm crossing party lines and voting for Hillary. I don't always agree with her. But she's reasonable. And she's smart. She can work with people to solve problems. I want to be able to tell my kids that I did the right thing when it really mattered." The commercial is one of four new ads starring Republicans who are voting for Hillary Clinton. They began airing on TV in battleground states on Monday.
