Marketers in Hiroshima, Japan have come up with a different way of promoting the city of Onomichi to tourists -- they've built a version of Street View, but for cats. Footage on the Cat Street View site is all filmed, with 360 cameras, at cat's eye level, so you can explore Onomichi as if you were a feline. Onomichi, which is a port city 70km east of Hiroshima, is famous for having over 150,000 cats, and on the site, where you explore a shopping arcade and surrounding streets and alleys, you can meet quite a few of them. We're guessing the site itself is really designed to appeal to cat-lovers, but as a concept, it's a great way of PR-ing your destination.
