"Chicago's storied architectural past is fast disappearing," notes O&M/Chicago CD/AD Chris Turner. As if that weren't bad enough, "it's being replaced by some structural eyesores that add insult to injury." The creatives found that out the hard way when preparing this pro bono outdoor campaign. "We got a map and took a look at what is currently standing in the exact locations of some once famous landmarks," says Turner, who also handled the photography on this project. "In some cases, it was so absurd that we just laughed. This sad irony became the inspiration for these posters." See www.landmarks.org for more.
