H&M's Fall fashion campaign is inspired by Japanese nightlife and stars supermodel Naomi Campbell, among others, lip syncing in karaoke style to Wham!'s '80s hit "Wham Rap!"

The spot, by Adam&Eve/DDB, broke in Japan and will launch in other territories later this week. As Campbell struts her stuff in Tokyo and lyrics flash up on the screen karaoke style, supermodel Adwoa Aboah and a "squad" of others including Gia Seo, Camille, Edwina Preston and Stella Duval sing along. , Karim Huu Do directed via Caviar.

As well as mashing up a retro '80s vibe with modern Tokyo, the spot also captures the zeitgeist by paying homage to much-mourned George Michael less than a year after the singer's shocking death. Campbell was a friend of Michael; she appeared in his video for "Freedom '90" in 1990 alongside fellow supermodels Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington.
