Honda is giving Geneva Motor Show visitors the chance to experience the speed of the Honda Civic Type R and create a "race face" selfie in a specially-made video booth at the event.
Agency Lost Boys worked on the project with production company B-Reel, which created the booth in a London warehouse and took it to Geneva, where the show starts tomorrow. There, it will blast members of the public with a gust of wind representative of the speed of the Civic Type R, together with sounds and lights.
The technology utilizes a commercial leaf blower as well as an LED lighting rig, audio playback and video capture, all controlled using an Arduino. The experience will be filmed in super slow-motion and captured as a video that visitors can then share on their social channels. After the Geneva show, which runs until March 15, it will roll out at other events and exhibitions.
