Honda: The Great Unknown

Just a simple spark.

Editor's Pick

Honda launches the new Civic in Europe with a fiery TV spot out of Wieden & Kennedy London. Directed by Martin Krejci, the spot follows a "spark" from conception inside a Honda factory to delivery, in the form of the new Civic. Beautifully filmed, the spark takes a breathtaking journey, acting as a metaphor for the hard work and creativity it takes to make the vehicle. The idea is to inspire viewers to take a journey into the unknown.

On the YouTube site, Wieden also debuted interactive experiences to support the campaign. One is an interactive game that follows Honda engineers as they work through their thought processes. The second is an HTML5 in-browser game that gets you to set off chain reactions using pop up windows -- physics principles at play. And the third is 'Off the Grid,' a 360-degree video experience.
