Honda is inviting viewers to test their speed reading via a series of ads that can be played faster and faster to see if you can still read the text. The TV ad, by Wieden & Kennedy London, will run tonight on Sky Sports with the text appearing on the screen at a speed of 500 words per minute. Directed by Man vs Machine, its pacy soundtrack also intensifies the sense of speed while the message is all about "pushing yourself." Viewers are invited to go online and "keep up" with faster versions with the text appearing at up to 1,000 words per minute. Normal speech is on average 120 words per minute.
