In this year's TV spot promoting HSBC's sponsorship of the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, animated versions of the players descend from the sky onto Hong Kong to the rap soundtrack of Chris Classic's "Beast."

The energetic film features classic Japanese-style animation created by director Stephen McNally from Blink Ink. The players fly on the backs of animated eagles, dive into Hong Kong's harbor, run through the city's streets and finally surf into the stadium on the crests of waves. The ad features characterizations of players including England's Tom Mitchell and USA's Madison Hughes, as well as Brian O'Driscoll, Jason Robinson and George Gregan.

Saatchi & Saatchi London created the spot, which will launch in social channels this week ahead of the tournament taking place this coming weekend (April 8-10).
