A family manages to build a house and host a party in the course of a single day, in a new spot for HSBC by J. Walter Thompson London.

The charming ad begins at dawn in a Novia Scotia fishing village, where the family has bought a plot of land. While the house is being built, a young girl runs around the village, approaching skeptical neighbors with invitations to a housewarming party.

But as night falls, the roof goes on the house, the fairy lights come on, and the party begins. A voiceover says, "Sometimes, a day can make all the difference." The ad promotes HSBC's one-day mortgage approval service.
