Editor's Pick

Humoring the Fates, a group of production/animation studios from around the globe, brought its own experience with the Japan earthquake and tsunami to life in this comic, part of the studios' ongoing online manga series Joe is Japanese. The studio illustrated an email it received post-quake from its Japanese colleague, Koga Sato, the real-life inspiration for the Joe character.

The studios are hoping the comic will inspire donations to the Search Dog Foundation, which has sent rescue dogs to find people in over 75 crises, including Hurricane Katrina and the World Trade Center attacks.
