Hunter: Hunter App

An app for country connoisseurs.

Editor's Pick

Hunter, known for its waterproof wellington boots, is one of the ultimate British countryside brands, beloved of hunting, fishing and shooting types everywhere. Now, the brand has launched an app allowing users to tag their favorite places, with a slant towards outdoor festivals, country events and long, muddy country walks.

When the user tags a place - for example, their favorite country pub - everyone in a five mile radius can download that information too. And it's not just places, either. Users can tag their important belongings-like cars, or tents, and locate their tagged items through augmented reality - a particularly handy function if you've forgotten where you parked, for example. The app, developed by Exposure Promotions, also gives you the all-important British weather forecast, so you can work out whether it's going to pour on your trip, and of course advice on what to wear.
