Apparently, Belgium is very grey -- it has grey weather, grey streets, grey architecture. So Ikea, working with DDB Brussels, decided to add a shot of color to the country's drab landscape with a vibrant outdoor campaign. A series of very simple billboards brought what appeared to be solid splashes of yellow, red and green to city streets. But once passersby got closer up, images of various Ikea products would miraculously appear within the plain blocks of color.
