Ikea: Playin' With My Friends Making Of

Darren tells all.

Editor's Pick

How did Mother pull off the charming "Entertaining" spot for IKEA, which featured kids -- along with their imaginations -- readying a dinner party?

A "making of" film reveals all. Narrated by Darren the Bear, a big fuzzy guy, the story goes like this: Darren is an IKEA employee who was chuffed to bits when he was asked to be in the new spot. He tells the tale of how good the kids were at their job, and the on-set rivalries between bear and action figure that threatened to cast a pall over the proceedings before everything was squared away. And as Darren reveals at the end, this may not be the last we see of him, as he's recently joined acting classes.
