The online chorus idea isn't new, but Forsman & Bodenfors and B-Reel have applied the group singing—and dancing—to a good cause in a Live-Aid style online effort starring Ikea stuffed animals. Visitors to the Ikea Soft Aid site pick a soft toy to use as a singing avatar and can add their voices to the mix of a cheesy but well-meaning Aid ballad with their computer mics. The vocally-shy are also free to choreograph a dance for one of the softies to accompany the tune. For every soft toy customers buy, Ikea will donate one Euro to Save the Children and Unicef.
