Another inventive grand opening for Ikea.
Shoppers who've had an Ikea open in their neighborhood may understand the crazy anticipation that attends such an event. Forsman & Bodenfors capitalized on that sentiment with its latest promotion for the furniture retailer, celebrating the launch of a store in Vasteras, Sweden. To satiate the curiosity of potential Vasteras Ikea-goers before its opening on April 13, the agency has launched this site to give them a sneak preview of what's inside and introduce them to its manager, Freddy Johansson. But it's not just your everyday interactive tour. Hidden within the virtual store are various competitions to win Ikea goods. But visitors will have to search long and hard to playâ€"the shop covers about 40,000 square meters.
