Faceless Statues Serve as a Heartbreaking Reminder of Gun Violence in Chicago

FCB Chicago Worked With Victims' Families and Used Their Clothing

The Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence created this moving exhibit in Chicago's St. James Square as a memorial to children killed by guns. Agency FCB Chicago worked closely with the victims' families to create lifelike -- but faceless -- statues of the victims in their actual clothing. Visitors to the square could also scan the name badges to find out more about the victims. In this moving video, the parents explain why they chose the clothing in question, and what it means to them. The campaign urges people to sign a petition against gun ownership on the project website.
