U.K.-based stock house Image Source (www.imagesource.com) is offering the latest edition of its catalog, Image Source 7, whose style and layout, according to the company, reflects its new brand identity. That identity was conceived by London's Frost Design, and the "strikingly simple" cover design, says Image Source, "gives a real taste of what is to come later in the book, with the title boldly foil blocked onto Trojan Whiteback paper, which has a brown organic feel. The cover opens to reveal colorful, eye-catching pages printed very unusually on Offenbach paper. This is commonly used for the interior pages of bibles, but here displays images to dramatic effect, with spreads drenched in color." We agree. In fact, we found an Image Source 7 in a Motel 6 night table the other day. Kidding! The book's "easy to navigate" interior design, "with colored category tabs at the side of each page to be used for easy reference even when the book is closed," is the work of Peter Reynolds of Malarkey Design. Seen here are some images from the catalog.
