These Quirky ING Ads Will Make You Smile

Humorous Campaign From Belgium Illustrates Accounts for Different Folks

Published on

Editor's Pick

This quirky campaign from Dutch bank ING introduces us to some humorously-drawn characters to illustrate the different kinds of ING Lion bank accounts on offer.

Promoting the brand's joint account are Ann the "cougar" and her much younger boyfriend Matthew, who are "in love -- and like to show it" and make his parents "nervous." And promoting the perfect account for your first pay check is Thomas, whose constantly shaking head reflects his job at a soda factory watching bottles on a conveyor belt, and who wants to become a tennis umpire.

The spots, the first in a series running in Belgium, are nicely directed by Bernie Roux through production company 2Sur2, for agency Havas Brussels.
