INPES: Jenifer Live Concert

Protecting your ears, protecting your music.

Editor's Pick

To educate young people about the risks to their hearing from loud music, DDB Paris's campaign for INPES (National Institute for Prevention and Education) created a YouTube film based on 3D holophonic sound and featuring French pop star, Jenifer.

Although it appeared to be a YouTube video of a real Jenifer concert, the film soon turned into a video game centering on Jenifer's kidnapping, inviting viewers to try and find the captured star. The holophonic sound allows the listener to perceive sounds as they are in reality, and to know whether they are coming from the left or the right, from in front or behind. The ultimate message is that by protecting your hearing, you can protect the music that you love.
