Editor's Pick

Ivan Cash, the interactive artist known for his very human examinations of digital life -- like Snail Mail vs. Email, has taken his "Last Photo" project to the streets of New York and Los Angeles. For the experiment, which he first launched earlier this year, he approached random people on the street and asked them the story behind the last photo they took on their smart phones. He recently expanded his efforts to the West Coast and East Coast cities, uncovering things like cat shit, naked Guitar Hero, "medical" plants, latte art, asses of all kinds -- and even a selfie or two.
