J. Crew adds some pizzazz to its Holiday Gift Guide with a website that couples static product images with videos of people modelling the products, that pop up out of nowhere. The effort reminds us a bit of some of the moves Japanese retailer Uniqlo has made with its e-commerce offerings, which mixes product images with pictures of models for an interactive experience.
