Jigsaw, the fashion retailer that made headlines recently in the U.K. with a bold pro-immigration campaign, has unveiled its first-ever Christmas ad in collaboration with the National Film and Television School (NFTS).

The 90-second film, "Together Through the Years," is part of a wider festive campaign inspired by surrealism, which t carries the tagline "Have a Holly Jolly Lobster." It tells the story of stop-motion puppets Isabel and Caspian, childhood neighbors who lose touch but ultimately find each other again in adulthood. The puppets wear miniature versions of Jigsaw clothing.

Jigsaw's agency, The Corner, was involved in creative developing, briefing and judging entries for the NFTS.

"It's a simple story of love and togetherness," says Nick Cinelli, NFTS Directing Animation MA student, animator, producer and director of the film, in a statement. "There's a whole team behind the creation, including a wardrobe designer. We worked directly with Jigsaw's pattern maker and we designed equivalent miniature Jigsaw clothing like the green mohair coat and the mustard flannel trousers."
