As the world continues to mourn David Bowie, one Belgian radio station has found a particularly touching way to pay tribute to the icon. The Send a Last Message to Major Tom website, a collaboration between JoeFM and creative agency LDV United, invites fans to write short "final messages for David Bowie" -- e.g., "David Bowie, you were one amazing man and you left such an incredible legacy. Rest easy, Starman. We'll never forget you," submitted by a woman from the U.S. named Celia.

On Jan. 18, JoeFM plans to use its transmitters "to send all collected messages to a satellite. Which in turn will burst the signal out into space."
