Editor's Pick

The founders of Jolkona want you to give up your lunch money to donate to the Horn of Africa. Adnan Mahmud and Nadia Khawaja have launched a new campaign during the month of Ramadan. As Muslims, they will be fasting for the month, and plan to donate their lunch money to feed starving families in Somalia. Their goal is to feed 30 families -- and right now, they are well on their way.

Mahmud and Khawaja are the founders of Jolkona, a philanthropic project that lets you make small donations -- and actually measure their impact. Current projects along with the Give My Lunch campaign include upgrading a fish farming pond in Malawi and building toilets in rural India.
