Appealing to 80s nostalgics with its Pac-Man style bent, along with artwork that would make Max Ernst proud, KFC's U.K. advergame dubbed "Hunger Strike" pits viewers against a series of six cleverly-coined nemeses--"Orangupangs," "Ping Pangs," "Wu Pang Clan," "Pang Pangs," "Big Pang" and "Skull."
The mission, if you choose to accept, is to alleviate said hunger pangs before they squirm from your belly to your brain. Using a culinary artillery consisting of KFC beans, fries, chicken, Pepsi and the Big Daddy Burger, combatants can purchase each weapon and collect credits along the way. Additionally, like an arms race, there are opportunities to sell weapons, upgrade and buy extra lives via select keystrokes, all the while stoking appetites during the battle.
