Magazine, newspaper and OOH ads for a winter clothing drive, sponsored by LaSalle Bank and the Salvation Army, take a light but firm approach to wardrobe maintenance. "This is our version of 'What not to wear,' " says Energy BBDO GCD Miles Turpin, who was apparently quite the inspiration for this campaign. As Turpin points out, "The guys who thought up the ads — Pete Noback and Bryan Dixon — have identified most of my clothes as donation material." The campaign runs in Michigan and Chicago, abetted by guerrilla street teams that distribute collection bags and collateral promoting the drive.
